I discovered the wonderful Betty Page through the work of Dave Stevens, an artist who I greatly admired and whose work I love. Tragically we lost both of them last year and I started a little tribute piece, which then sat on my drawing table for months. Ran across it the other day and this joke just jumped out at me - so I adapted my original sketch and this is the result - a little gag and a tribute to the original and best queen of the pinup plus a thanks to everyone who's rummaged through my pictures, left comments and made me feel at home here on DA. The joke would work with 100 (betty) page views or 42000, but thank you everybody!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
