Work in progresss.

Begun as a little tribute piece some 4 years ago (roughly about 28 dog years!) as a little nod to some of my childhood favourite artists - Frazetta, Boris, Buschema, Jusko to name a few. Sat incomplete on one of my hard drives all this time, and lately I've been sneaking in time to work on it some more. Its still incomplete, but I thought I'd post this character and a snippet from the background. Had a bunny rabbit tattoo on his shoulder, but decided against it for the moment.

I love this. Even though it's cartoon-ish, it's got that retro early 80's HeavyMetal magazine airbrushy fantasy look. . .I see more Ken Kelly in it than Frazetta. If you're not familiar with him, you should check out Ken Kelly's work, especially the Manowar covers he did. Cheers:)

Cheers! I am familiar with Ken Kelly's work, though I dont believe I've ever actually heard any songs by Manowar :D
