Katmomma made the astute Norman Rockwell connection. Perhaps you could work some of Rockwell's classics into your portfolio. Would love to see your "loopy" twist on his self portrait, for example.
I personally see a touch of Big Daddy Roth meets Frank Frazetta. Big fan. Love it all.

All very flattering comparisons there :D Love both Rockwells technique and sense of narrative - and his self portrait is such an iconic image.. who knows, one day I may have a play in that particular sandpit.
