Did the whole cover at 5000x 7000 pixels so this cant really be called a close up I guess, but it shows just a bit more detail.

You know Dave, as much as I gave you crap about the veins on tarzan, this is the only reason I did so...because you're friggen awesome, and I love seeing this level of detail, how much it fits, how much care went into it, and the pure awesome style you have.

I've been on DA for the better part of 8 years and this has got to be one of my favorite images i've seen. I love her expression, the almost vector like details in the glasses, the flare of color and shapes in her shirt, the way you put together the "Kitty" at the bottom...well I don't want to leave a wall of text, but i'm going to simply say:

:D Thanks for the lovely words! Where did I learn this? I'm pretty much self taught, - I like to draw or work on my craft every day, observe and try to improve on things that I need to work on. I used to take a sketch book with me everywhere I went and drew people I saw on the train, in meetings.. every where. I still look at everything around me like I'm going to draw it from peoples expressions to how the clothes fit on them. Obsessive much? Probably! :D
